Professional User Agreement – KhojPro

  1. Introduction

This Professional User Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to all professionals registering on KhojPro (“Platform”).
By creating an account, you agree to comply with:

  • Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS)
  • Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS)
  • Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA)
  • Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT Rules, 2021
  • Internationally accepted cyber law and digital privacy standards

KhojPro only provides a listing and discovery platform; it does not employ or endorse any professional.

  1. Eligibility

To register as a professional, you must:

  1. Be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Provide accurate identity, qualification, and licensing details.
  3. Be legally authorized to offer services.
  4. Not be barred under any law from practicing your profession.
  1. Verification
  • You must upload valid documents supporting your qualifications.
  • KhojPro may verify your profile but is not responsible for document authenticity.
  • If any information is false or misleading, your account may be suspended or terminated.
  1. Professional Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide truthful, updated professional information.
  • Maintain professionalism in all communications.
  • Not commit fraud, impersonation, negligence, or misrepresentation.
  • Not violate any provision of BNS including cyber fraud, identity theft, harassment, breach of trust, or endangerment.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding user data.
  • Deliver services within your legal and professional competency.
  1. Compliance With Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)

You must ensure that your actions do not violate BNS provisions such as:

  • Offences relating to cyber fraud, identity theft, unauthorized access, data tampering, cheating, misrepresentation, or privacy violations.
  • Offences causing harm, injury, financial loss, or deception to users.

Any violation may lead to account suspension and legal reporting.

  1. International Cyber Law Compliance

Professionals must adhere to internationally recognized cyber law standards involving:

  • Fair and lawful information handling
  • Data privacy norms similar to GDPR
  • Prohibition of phishing, hacking, or unauthorized digital access
  • Maintaining integrity of digital evidence
  • Respecting electronic contract norms

You must ensure secure and lawful handling of user data and communication.

  1. Content & Communication Guidelines

You must not:

  • Advertise misleading services
  • Share false or unverifiable claims
  • Use defamatory, abusive, or discriminatory language
  • Solicit unlawful services
  • Share copyrighted content without permission
  1. Payment & Commission

If KhojPro introduces any subscription, commission, or payment model in the future, you must abide by updated terms.
All billing must follow lawful accounting and taxation norms.

  1. Confidentiality & Data Protection

Professionals agree to:

  • Protect user information from unauthorized disclosure
  • Not misuse phone numbers, email addresses, or personal data
  • Comply with Indian IT Rules and international privacy norms

Violation may result in immediate termination and legal action.

  1. Platform Rights

KhojPro may:

  • Verify/modify/suspend any professional profile
  • Remove content violating laws or platform rules
  • Update this Agreement at any time

Professionals will be informed of any significant changes.

  1. Limitation of Liability

KhojPro only provides a digital directory service and is not responsible for:

  • Quality of services provided by professionals
  • Injury, loss, or damages caused by any professional
  • Disputes between users and professionals

Professionals are independently responsible for their actions.

  1. Dispute Resolution
  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes must first be attempted to be resolved through negotiation.
  • Courts of the jurisdiction where KhojPro is registered shall have exclusive authority.
  1. Termination

KhojPro may terminate a professional account for:

  • Violating laws or platform policies
  • User complaints indicating misconduct
  • Fraudulent or misleading activities

Professionals may request account deletion anytime.

  1. Acceptance

By registering on KhojPro, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood this Agreement
  • You voluntarily agree to abide by its terms
  • Digital acceptance is legally binding under Indian law and international cyber law standards
